It is very interesting to see how these new technologies are emerging in such a fast phase and every industry is now trying to adopt to this fast evolving technologies to leverage the benefits these technologies bring in different spaces.
If we look at the innovations in the area of Mobility & Cloud space, there is tremendous opportunities and also challenges as to how fast we can adopt to these technologies and how fast we can learn to provide the expertise in these areas. This is really creating huge demand and pressure on the Developers, Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects (EA), Information Technology (IT) Director, Chief Mobility Officer (CMO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) to meet the demanding needs of the Business & Organization.
I’ve started my career as a Software Engineer in Internet Technologies and then later moved to SAP ERP area. I’ve been working in this IT industry for past 14 years and majority of my experience was in supporting various SAP modules in SAP space. For past few years, I’ve been working and trying on various new technologies that directly or indirectly influence SAP area, as this has been my core competence.
Coming from this kind of background, where majority of experience in ABAP language and working in SAP domain, I can completely understand how challenging and difficult it is for ABAP Developers or SAP Solution Architects to understand how these new emerging technologies can help in building industry solutions.
In addition, these new disruptive technologies are bringing innovations to the way we do business, the way we build solutions, the way we can streamline the processes, which is becoming a mandatory need and not just a technology. So it is very important for us to start embracing these technologies to be part of the growing competition.
